Most of us have attended lectures or presentations in which many of the participants were obviously not enrolled or interested in the material or in the style of presentation. There are several teaching tips that help educators maintain the audience. During the next several issues, I will review various strategies to enroll participants and maintain their involvement in whatever content is being presented. Although the content may not be something that everyone wants or needs, it can be presented in a way that keeps most of the learners engaged.
